Full description

Mission impossible is one of the most popular action franchises in Hollywood, and Dubai played an integral part in the fourth movie. Ethan Hunt and his IMF fugitive gang are in Dubai to intercept the sale of some launch codes and prevent a nuclear attack on the US.

The stunning Burj Khalifa action sequence was performed by the lead actor Tom Cruise himself. The daring actions took place at a height of about 1,700 feet (518 meters) where Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) calmly glides down the 163-story Burj Khalifa, located in the heart of Downtown Dubai! This scene was followed by Ethan Hunt’s run out of the Dubai International Financial Centre and into some unspecified Old Dubai souk and finally ending up at the Maydan Bridge.

The makers of Star Trek Beyond may have digitally enhanced some of the locations, and yet we can recognize countless Dubai sites. The iconic Jumeirah Lakes Towers, the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Burj Khalifa all star alongside the casts of the film, including Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba and Anton Yelchin.

Join our Half Day Mission Impossible and Star Trek Beyond tour to explore the location of Dubai where Mission Impossible and Star Trek were filmed. Walk the footsteps of Ethan Hunt and get a glimpse of futuristic Yorktown.
