Our Reservations Team and Driver-Guides are on hand to help you whenever you need it. From the moment you make your first enquiry, to when you leave your review for your tour, we are on hand to make sure your experience in Scotland is safe and worry-free.
Our Driver-Guides are fully trained in new hygiene procedures and physical distancing regulations. We kindly ask whilst on tour that you cooperate fully with your Driver-Guide and heed any advice they may give to ensure the tour is kept as safe as possible for all on board.
We hold our partners to the same high standards that we keep ourselves. For this reason, we are selective with whom we work with and have contacted each of our partners to ensure they are strictly adhering to Government guidelines.
We offer free cancellation on all of our 1 day tours giving 24 hours notice. If you’re unable to travel due to Covid-19, contact us and we will amend your booking free of charge.

On the Road
All of our vehicles will be fully sanitised before leaving our depot every morning and fully disinfected after each tour, including air conditioning vents. Additional measures have been taken following WHO guidelines to ensure we are abiding by the latest hygiene protocols.
Throughout the touring day, your Driver-Guide will be disinfecting touch points inside the vehicle, such as door handles. We also have hand sanitiser on board for use throughout the day and we ask our customers to sanitise their hands when boarding and alighting the coach. We always recommend keeping your own personal hand sanitiser and a face covering with you.
We have taken steps to ensure our customers are able to adhere to the current physical distancing rule on board our vehicles, and have lowered the customer capacity of all our coaches to abide by this rule.
We have worked hard to put these measures in place for the well-being of our staff and customers. We would kindly ask you to take personal responsibility for your own protective equipment, such as face coverings, hand sanitiser and physical distancing whilst touring with us.
We look forward to touring with you in this new normal. Let’s work hard to keep each other safe and healthy!
Departing Inverness, we journey east in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire to Culloden Battlefield, our first stop of the day. The Battlefield was featured in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander books and in the TV series. Enjoy a stop at the modern visitor centre and discover why this historic battle only lasted for one hour and how it has changed the way of life for the Highlanders ever since.
After Culloden, we stop briefly at the Clava Cairns; the standing stones are similar to the stones Claire used to step back in time. Get ready to touch the stones and have your photo opportunity before you could be whisked back in time to 1743!
We move on to our next stop of the day; Beauly Priory. The now ruined building was the setting for the burial place of the Lovat Frasers; it’s here where Claire meets the seer Maisri. Enjoy a short visit to the priory, with time for lunch, and admire its beautiful surroundings.
Moving on from Beauly, we pass Beaufort Castle, Fraser of Lovat’s Seat in Outlander, and onwards to Kilarlity, where we will stop for a visit to Wardlaw Mausoleum. Here we can visit the mausoleum and utter the Clan Fraser motto, “Je suis prest” – “I am ready!” and explore the final resting place of the Clan Chief Lord Lovat.
We then stop at Urquhart Castle; an ancient fortress overlooking Loch Ness, and possibly one of the most iconic sites in the Scottish Highlands. Enjoy time here to explore the ruined castle and learn of its turbulent history. For Outlander fans, see where Claire spots the ‘water horse’.
After Urquhart Castle, we will have the chance to take a boat cruise by Jacobite up to Dochgarroch to finish our Outlander tour (summer only). After a relaxing cruise, we will return to Inverness, where your tour will end.
