Your personalized Harry Potter Orlando guided tour
We’re excited to create a Harry Potter Orlando Tour, specifically catered to your interests and needs! When you book a guided tour with us, you save time and money that would otherwise be spent waiting in long lines, vacation planning, or trying to juggle the endless options in front of you.
With any of our Harry Potter Orlando Tours, you can rest assured that you will have an expert, local guide who will not only plan and personalize every aspect of your tour, but will also show you the hidden secrets across both lands – Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley – that many visitors overlook.
Once you book your tour, we will send you a survey asking about your specific areas of interest across a variety of categories, including rides, shows, experiences, shopping, and food & beverage. Our team will review your survey response and create a personalized tour based on your tour’s duration as well as the needs and interests of your group. There is so much to do in the Wizarding World, and we want to be sure that your tour focuses on exactly what it is you want to do.
Designed especially for you
Each group visiting the Wizarding World has different interests, and unless you plan on staying for a month – it would be a challenge to experience all there is that both parks have to offer. In order to make your experience the best possible, please review each of the topics below before completing your survey so you can familiarize yourself with your endless options!
The Wizarding World has four amazing rides! Wait times for rides can vary, and can sometimes be quite long. However, Universal has done an amazing job of making the lines an immersive experience in and of themselves. For example, the line for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey takes you through Hogwarts Castle, where you can see amazing things such as the Sword of Gryffindor, the Sorting Hat, the Mirror of Erised, Dumbledores office, and much more.
However, if you have other areas of interest, or if you want to do the rides on your own – you can always save them for after your tour and utilize the time you have with your private tour guide in other ways. For any guests booking the half-day tour, we highly recommend saving all rides for after your tour.
There are six shows that happen at specific times throughout the day. For example, you might want to see the Hogwarts students perform in the Frog Choir, or see incredible puppetry as you watch The Tales of Beetle the Bard. One of the most popular shows is inside of Ollivander’s Wand Shop, where the wand selects the wizard. One special member of the audience will be selected by Mr. Ollivander himself to be in the show. This is also the only show where there is a line (wait times can vary).
Let us know which shows you are interested in, and we will do our best to include them in the schedule. Or, if you are staying in the park after the conclusion of your tour, you could go back and see them at that time. Whatever your preference, you can let us know in the survey.
One way to completely immerse yourself into the Wizarding World is to participate in one of the many experiences that are offered. In our survey you will find a list to select from, such as visiting the Knight Bus and talking to the conductor, mailing a letter from the Owl Post, calling the Ministry of Magic, getting up close and personal with the Hogwarts Express, or visiting Gringotts Money Exchange, where you can trade in your cash for Gringotts Bank Notes that can be spent throughout the parks or kept as a souvenir (oh yeah – and there is a Goblin on staff you can speak with while you are there).
Wands & Spells
Everyone in your group will have the opportunity to participate in the most popular of all the experiences – which is selecting a wand and using it to cast spells. The wand is included in the price of the tour and is yours to keep!
The length of time that we spend on this experience is up to you. Some people want to visit every magical wand location throughout both parks, casting as many spells as possible. Others prefer to cast one or two spells and move on to different activities. Let us know your preferences in our survey.
Whether you are interested in finding your house robes, Quidditch supplies, magical wands or chocolate frogs – there are numerous immersive shops across both lands that are sure to have what you are looking for. In our survey we list each of the shops and a general description of what they carry. Let us know what special treasures you are looking for, and we’ll be sure to take you to the best stops to find them!
Food & Drink
When we think of theme parks, we often think of rides. But the creators of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter have made these parks so immersive, that even eating your meal is part of the experience. Do you want to step inside The Three Broomsticks for lunch? Or visit in the Hogs Head Saloon for a butter beer? Or maybe you want to create your own magical potion that you can drink?
Whatever your desires, you can share it in our survey, so we can include them in your custom tour plan. We know this is a lot of information, but don’t worry! That is why we are here! We know the parks inside and out, and we are going to take all of the stress and worry out of your vacation. Let us take care of it all while you have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime!
