The Dark Hedges / The Kingsroad
The Dark Hedges / The Kingsroad

Immerse yourself in the join the Night’s Watch! This beautiful avenue of beech trees has been used as the location for the Kingsroad in the hit show. It was planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century and intended as a compelling landscape feature to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their Georgian mansion, Gracehill House.

Two centuries later, the Dark Hedges remain a magnificent sight and have become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Ireland.

This is the final stop before we head back to Belfast, and has proven to be a favourite for photos we have props available should you fancy getting in theme, we love people sharing experiences of the tour via social media as it shows the stones and thrones tour is in a different league and why its the official tour to game of thrones.
