Denize Bluffs farm is one of the most prominent locations featured in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Our tour guide will show you around the most memorable filming locations on the Hairy Feet Waitomo Hobbit Tour.
The Tour begins at the abandoned farmhouse in Trollshaw. Discover the cave exit to where the Trolls go to stay out of the sun and visit the location where we first saw Radagast before he took the sick hedgehog and nursed it back to health.
Experience first-hand where the orcs and wargs planned their ambush on Thorin and the Company. Although Bilbo was reluctant to take the Elvish blade, your final stop is where he received the life-saving Sting.
All tours are guided with both fans and newcomers in mind, with excitement and facts tailored to everyone.
Although tours run twice per day, there is only an allocated number of bookings per tour. Book in advance to avoid disappointment!
