The Lord of the Rings Half-Day 4WD Safari from Queenstown tour will begin by transporting you part of the way up Queenstown Hill in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Once you reach this point, you will witness fantastic views looking onto Deer Park Heights. This filming location was used to capture footage from the Battle of the Wargs scene used for the refugees of Rohan.
After you are finished taking in the picturesque views of Queenstown Hill, the next part of the tour begins. You will now head to the iconic Kawarau Gorge which featured some significant filming locations from the Lord of The Rings.
