The Wheel of Time Filming Locations Tour from Prague

The Wheel of Time TV series is based on the book series of the same name by the late author Robert Jordan. The book series spans 14 volumes at approx 1000 pages each, so we don’t expect the showrunners to run out of material anytime soon.

The TV series is produced by  Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios, and the first season is announced to premiere later this year. The second season has already been greenlit.

The primary filming location is in Prague, but some scenes were also shot in Slovenia and Dubrovnik. There are also unconfirmed rumours that production did film in Tenerife and that Morocco will stand in as the Aiel Waste in Season 2.
